We are currently recruiting a compliance Auditor on a 12-month fixed term contract. The purpose of the role is to ensure that all aspects of the product safety and quality system (including the H.A.C.C.P. plan, prerequisite programmes, company policies, documentation, operating practices, and specific procedures) are audited at least twice per annum.
You will also provide support to the business that will help with compliance to audit standards/guidelines.
12. Conducting annual BRCGS and other audits (e.g. pre-cooling, goods-in, pallet integrity etc)
13. Carrying out quarterly Site Standards audits
14. Conducting quarterly cleaning verification checks (allergen swabbing)
15. Ensuring corrective actions are completed
16. Facilitating third-party audits (BRCGS, Nando’s, OF&G)
17. Attending monthly audit and Health and Safety meetings
18. Attending any Ops meetings as and when necessary
19. Providing support to Operational, Transport and SHEQ teams
Hours of work:
40 per week, Monday to Friday. Typical hours -, however flexibility is required dependent on business needs.
Essential:
20. Level 2 in Food Safety as a minimum
21. Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
22. Ability to work on your own
23. Time management
24. Attention to detail
25. Ability to communicate at all levels
26. Driving licence
Desirable:
27. Level 2 in HACCP
28. Internal audit training
29. Good knowledge of BRCGS S&D audit standards
30. Experience in a previous audit role
31. Product and operational knowledge
32. Knowledge of ISO standards/GMP’s
