About the role
We're looking for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Project Manager to join our team on an exciting live hospital project in Birmingham. The role would suit someone with a strong MEP / Building Services background who enjoys managing complex projects in sensitive, operational environments. You'll be responsible for coordinating all mechanical and electrical works, ensuring delivery is safe, efficient, and in line with healthcare standards.
You’ll work closely with hospital teams, consultants, and subcontractors – keeping communication clear and disruption to a minimum as you help bring essential infrastructure improvements to life.
What you'll be doing
* Overseeing all M & E works on a live healthcare site.
* Managing design co-ordination, procurement, and installations.
* Supporting and guiding subcontractors to meet programme and quality targets.
* Monitoring progress, budgets, and health & safety performance.
* Reporting project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Who we're looking for
* Experienced in delivering MEP / Building Services projects, ideally in hospitals or other live environments.
* Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
* Strong communication and leadership skills – able to bring teams together and build trust.
* Qualified to HNC / Degree or equivalent in Building Services.
