Team Member Responsibilities:
* Work as part of a team to monitor the class schedule.
* Assist with session planning and preparation by getting materials ready and setting up equipment.
* Be clear on what activities are to be delivered each day.
* Revise lesson material with students individually or in small groups.
* Ensure the learning environment is safe and clean.
* Oversee students at all times including change of session, during lunch, and playtimes
* Collaborate with SLT to recognise issues students are facing and recommend solutions.
* Comply with the centre rules and regulations.
* Attend any training classes, or staff meetings.
* To work on 1-1 basis with individual children when required
Requirements:
* Maths and English GCSE or equivalent qualification.
* A minimum of 2 years' experience as a teaching assistant or similar role.
* Must have a compassionate and positive attitude.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* An understanding of medical diagnosis's such as ADHD, ASD, PDA
* Outstanding interpersonal and presentation abilities.
* A knowledge of EHCPs is preferable but not essential.
