Vessel Performance & Sustainability Analyst – Permanent – Glasgow – Competitive package
This is an excellent opportunity to join the performance team within a global LNG owner & operator based in Glasgow.
The Performance Team is responsible for monitoring the commercial, technical, and environmental performance of the fleet of vessels.
The Vessel Performance & Sustainability Analyst will be the first point of contact for the operations teams regarding performance and emissions reporting queries.
Responsibilities include:
1. Collaborate with fleet members to enhance operational performance and ensure reporting compliance.
2. Support the operations team with performance inquiries, with assistance from the wider Performance/Marine and Technical Services team.
3. Investigate variances in actual vs. expected performance and work with ship teams to understand data discrepancies.
4. Advise the operations team on performance improvements, sharing results and best practices.
5. Identify systematic performance issues for the Performance team’s review.
6. Handle EU MRV, FuelEU, and IMO DCS data verification in Veracity, including updates to monitoring plans and Thetis.
Experience Required:
1. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
2. Curious mindset and proactive approach.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially advanced Excel skills.
4. Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
5. Understanding of key performance clauses in charter parties.
6. Experience in vessel performance, LNG vessel operations, or seagoing experience.
