The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and structured legal professional to take on a mixed caseload of civil litigation matters and work within a friendly, supportive, and forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a varied caseload of civil litigation matters independently
* Provide practical, solution-focused legal advice to a wide range of clients
* Convert enquiries and quotations into new business
* Work closely with colleagues and contribute to business development and marketing activity
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal developments in dispute resolution
* Adhere to firm-wide financial and compliance procedures, including accurate time recording, billing, and risk management
Person Specification
Essential:
* Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or experienced Litigation Executive
* Experience managing your own caseload of civil litigation matters
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
* Professional, confident, and client-focused
* Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Desirable:
* Familiarity with SOS Connect or other case management systems
* Experience using HR or legal admin systems (e.g. CIPHR)
* Commercial mindset with a focus on generating new work

* Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire
* Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:15 (36.25 hours/week)
