The role involves providing technical accounting oversight for the UK private asset book, covering various fund ranges including ACS, PAIF, segregated mandates, insurance funds, and SPV.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expertise on accounting requirements across asset classes and fund jurisdictions.
* Ensure correct interpretation and implementation of requirements.
* Develop relationships with clients, audit firms, and external providers.
* Assess operational risks considering market, legal, and technological changes.
* Stay informed on market issues, pricing, and accounting/tax changes.
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant or equivalent professional experience.
* Experience working directly with clients and third parties.
* Mandatory experience in Private Assets, especially infrastructure, equity, or real estate.
* Preferred experience with Yardi software.
* Knowledge of Investment Accounting and Fund Administration is beneficial.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to organize and meet deadlines.
* Business awareness of risks within Fund Administration.
