Vehicle Technician Opportunity
1. Location: Northampton
2. Basic Salary: £33,650 + bonus
3. OTE: £39,500
4. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday only
5. Overtime available on Saturdays
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a modern and busy main dealership in Northampton. This position offers excellent earning potential, ongoing manufacturer training and the chance to work within a professional workshop environment equipped with the latest tools and technology.
The successful individual will join a high-performing aftersales team where quality, efficiency and teamwork are valued. This is an ideal role for a technician looking to further develop their skills and progress their career within a stable and forward-thinking business.
Responsibilities:
6. Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work to manufacturer standards
7. Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment
8. Completing warranty repairs and general mechanical work
9. Performing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work where required
10. Completing job cards and workshop documentation accurately
11. Maintaining high standards of workmanship, productivity and safety
Requirements:
12. Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician (IMI, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)
13. Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a workshop environment
14. Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities
15. MOT Licence preferred but not essential
16. A positive attitude with strong attention to detail
17. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
