Care Supervisor
Location: Ipswich, Office and Field based
Salary: A GBP 25,000 : A GBP 27,450 per annum, depending on experience

The Role
As a Care Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of home:based care are consistently delivered. Youll be the vital link between clients, care assistants, and healthcare professionals : ensuring compassionate, tailored support that allows individuals to remain safe and comfortable in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
Work well with clients:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments with clients and their representatives to understand care needs and goals, including risk assessments
* Provide clear information about their services so clients understand what to expect and how to raise concerns
* Maintain confidentiality and security of all client information, sharing only when required to protect client interests
* Ensure continuity of care through their regular carer assignment system
Work well with staff:
* Provide care assistants with appropriate guidance to deliver safe, effective care according to personalized care plans
* Collaborate with the organisations coordinators to match care assistants to clients based on skills, compatibility, language needs, and cultural considerations
* Attend first visits to introduce care assistants to clients
* Monitor and distribute MAR charts, taking appropriate action on findings
* Support, supervise, and assist with training of their care team
* Participate in their 24:hour on:call emergency rota, managing coverage when care assistants are unavailable
* Coordinate staff changeovers and briefings for live:in care assignments
Quality improvement:
* Investigate service quality matters and implement improvements
* Monitor care assistant performance and conduct quality reviews at clients homes
* Apply the organisation policies and CQC regulations at all times
* Ensure accurate recording and reporting of accidents and incidents
* Work collaboratively with clients, families, NHS professionals, and their internal team
* Lead staff and client meetings
* Participate in training activities, appraisals, and development meetings
Skills and Qualifications
Essential:
* Car Owner and Full UK Driving License
* Level 3 NVQ or willingness to proceed with Level 3 NVQ training
* Care Certificate and strong interpersonal skills
