We have an excellent opportunity working for a successful construction company based in Worcester offering quality works to customers for a diverse range of clients including insurance-based jobs, They also specialise in structural repairs and are a Helifix Approved Contractor Main purpose for this newly created position is to manage all the business operations including office management, projects and site management Duties to include: * Manage a small office team including an office manager, and other admin staff * Oversee construction projects including sourcing trades to complete works while working to budgets and deadlines * Responsibility for a Health and Safety Monitoring Management System and Audit for compliance * Site visits to undertake risk assessments, site surveyors and manage site staff * Being point of contact both on site and off site for any problems, queries or complaints * Making sure all projects adhere to current legislations, policies and procedures * Keeping all documentation/spreadsheets are up to date for audit purposes * Travelling to sites within a 60-mile radius The right candidate must have: * A background working within the construction industry * Experience working on Insurance based projects would be advantageous * Ability to manage small and large teams professionally * Excellent communication skills * Full computer literacy on MS packages including excel spreadsheets * CSCS Level 6 advantageous not essential * NEBOSH and IOSH advantageous but SMSTS would be essential * Degree in either Business, Engineering or Construction Management would also be preferred In return, the company will offer * Permanent salary £40,000-£50,000k depending upon experience * Full training in Site Surveying if needed * Long standing career within an ever-growing business * Use of a vehicle including fuel card to undertake site visits * Working hours of Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm – Office based role
