The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking an Electromagnetic Effects Test, Design and Analysis Engineer located in Berkeley, MO.
Position Responsibilities:
* Develop and validate requirements for communication, sensor, electronic warfare, and other electromagnetic systems and components.
* Develop and validate electromagnetic requirements for electrical/electronic systems, mechanical systems, interconnects, and structures.
* Create architectures to integrate systems and components into higher-level systems and platforms.
* Perform trade studies, modeling, simulation, and analysis to predict performance and optimize designs.
* Define and conduct tests to validate performance against requirements.
* Manage supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance.
* Support product lifecycle through root-cause analysis and engineering support.
* Assist project management with work statements, budgets, schedules, and reporting.
* Contribute to proposal sections for new business development.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite at one of the listed locations.
Security Clearance: Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). An active clearance within the past 24 months is acceptable.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
* 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree OR 3+ years with a Master’s degree.
* Experience in defense or aerospace industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
* iNARTE certification or EMC Engineer certification.
* Knowledge of digital signal processing, RF grounding, and shielding.
* Hands-on experience with MatLab, LTSpice, System Vision, PSPICE, MathCAD, AutoCAD, Mentor DX Designer, and Expedition.
* Experience in developing and delivering stakeholder presentations.
* Previous aerospace or defense industry experience, especially in Electromagnetic Effects.
Additional Details:
Education/experience typically includes advanced technical education and 5+ years of related work experience. Relocation assistance is available based on eligibility. This is a first shift position.
Salary range: $97,750 - $132,250.
