* Rotating shifts: 6am – 2.30pm and 2.30pm – 11pm

Duties of a HGV Technician:
* Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy goods vehicles, adhering to manufacturer procedures
* Perform fault diagnosis utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
* Assist in road tests, where HGV licences are held
* Ensure compliance with warranty procedures and accurately record all work undertaken
* Support parts department to ensure correct fitting of replacement parts
* Complete job cards and service sheets in accordance with Volvo standards
* Report vehicle defects and maintain workshop facility standards
* Support roadside breakdowns as required
* Contribute to the development of new trainees and apprentices
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
* Proven experience as an HGV Technician, ideally with Volvo experience but not essential
* Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills
* Proactive approach with excellent attention to safety and customer service
* Full UK driving licence; HGV licence preferred but not essential
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment and follow health and safety guidelines
