Your Role as a Teaching Assistant: Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, helping them understand and complete tasks. Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment. Help prepare learning materials and classroom resources. Encourage pupil participation, confidence, and academic progress. What You’ll Need as a Teaching Assistant: Experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to supporting learners. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff. A proactive and flexible attitude. Availability to work full-time, 5 days per week. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
