PS Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently looking for a Accounts Senior on a full-time, permanent basis located in Gorleston. Role Summary: As a Practice Accountant, you will be exposed to a wide variety of accounting and tax areas. For example, accounts for companies, sole traders and partnerships, audits, tax computations and tax returns, VAT returns, CIS returns, etc. Additionally, you will help mentor the junior members of the team. Main Responsibilities: * Manage a portfolio of clients and maintain strong relationships with them * Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns * Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards * Conduct regular financial analysis and forecasting to provide expert advice to clients * Collaborate with other team members to ensure client needs are met in a timely and efficient manner * Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends and potential issues Person Specification: * ACA or ACCA qualified (or exam finalist) * Strong IT skills with experience using Xero and IRIS preferrable * Proven experience in client handling * A strong work ethic with commitment to delivering an excellent service * An innate drive to ensure the value and integrity of the business is always upheld * An ability to work to deadlines Working Benefits: * Competitive salary plus additional benefits subject to experience * 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays (fully qualified individuals only) * Salary sacrifice available for pension contributions * Life Assurance (death in service) * Sick Pay after qualifying period * Employee Benefits Scheme * Employee Assistance Programme * Free car parking * Length of service recognition * Company social events paid for or subsidised by the firm
