We are developing a premium handcrafted wool felt magnetic alphabet set and are seeking an illustrator to design embroidery-ready motif artwork for manufacturing.
This project is for children ages 3+ and must feel elevated, heirloom-quality, and cohesive across all letters.
Phase 1 Scope:
Design 3–5 initial embroidery-ready motifs (for example: A – apple, B – bee, C – cat) for style approval.
Artwork Requirements:
• Clean vector format (AI + SVG required)
• Simplified shapes suitable for embroidery on wool felt
• No thin lines, gradients, or excessive detail
• Limited, toddler-appropriate color palette
• Consistent visual style across all motifs
• Soft, friendly, slightly rounded aesthetic (not cartoonish, not overly realistic)
Each motif will be embroidered onto an 8cm uppercase wool felt letter. Placement balance and scalability are important.
Deliverables (Phase 1):
• Vector files (AI + SVG)
• Simplified stitch-friendly version
• Suggested thread color references
• Basic placement mockup on a letterform
If Phase 1 is successful, we will move forward with full A–Z development.
