Note: Fireslug Studios is currently in a pre-funding stage, and our entire team is working remotely on a voluntary basis. We hope to offer paid in-house or freelance roles once we secure funding or on successful project release. We provide references and opportunities for portfolio development to those looking to build a career in the wider industry. Additionally, we arrange for sharing elements of your contributions professionally, subject to our non-disclosure agreement (NDA), regardless of the project’s completion state.
Role Overview:
We're currently inviting speculative applications from talented individuals who are excited about making great games and see themselves in one of the roles below. Whether you're deeply technical, highly creative, or a blend of both, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
We welcome applications from individuals with various backgrounds and skill sets, including (but not limited to):
* Programmers experienced in Unity, with strengths in mathematics, AI, gameplay, and audio.
* Game Designers skilled in mechanics, narratives, player experiences, and game documentation
* Concept Artists, 2D & 3D Artists skilled in creating visuals, characters, and environment assets.
* 2D & 3D Animators skilled in smooth, expressive animation for characters, effects, and UI.
* Game Audio Specialists including music composers, SFX and audio designers.
* Graphic Designers experienced in creating game marketing assets like printed media, websites, and Steam store visuals.
* Social Media & Marketing Managers skilled in community building, campaign management, and game promotion.
* Project Managers & Producers experienced in managing development pipelines and team coordination.
Commitment:
* Minimum of 12 hours per week or equivalent contributions.
* Able to attend and contribute to weekly meetings.
* Available to respond to questions and queries during weekdays as needed.
