Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Bath, United Kingdom. As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalized care and support in their homes.
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and medication reminders
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversations and activities
* Prepare nutritious meals and help with light housekeeping tasks
* Accompany clients to appointments and social outings as needed
* Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health to the care team
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents or concerns
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
* Adapt to clients' individual needs and preferences, promoting their independence and dignity
* Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies or unexpected situations
* Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance care skills and knowledge
Qualifications
* Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, understanding, and ability to work with diverse personalities and needs
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
* Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as required.
* Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to care standards
* Ability to adapt to changing situations and remain calm under pressure
* Full training is given regardless of experience.
Additional Information
* We pay between £13.00 to £28.00 a hour.
* Paid Travel and Waiting time between client visits
* Paid mileage, with payments matched to current fuel prices.
* Paid on-boarding training and ongoing training including CPR and Dementia training. Free qualifications such as The Care Certificate, NVQ diplomas.
* Paid holiday
* Regular working pattern with 1- hour minimum visits to regular clients.
