Job Description Shape and lead a corporate department with a clear path to Board level Inherit an existing flow of quality work with the opportunity to grow your own client base Join a modern, well-run Legal 500 firm with a down-to-earth culture This is an exciting opportunity for a 5-8 PQE Corporate Solicitor to take a leading role within a highly regarded regional firm as Head of Corporate. You’ll initially join as an Associate Director, with a seat on the management team, and a clear, realistic path to Board level once you’ve settled in and proven your impact. You’ll take the reins from the outgoing senior lawyer and steady the ship, laying the groundwork to scale the department just as the private client and family teams have already done. There’s already a healthy flow of transactional work coming in – especially from Harrogate and York – and you’ll also have the opportunity to lean on a well-established network in the tech sector and build new commercial relationships of your own. This role would suit someone currently at a mid-sized firm with broad transactional experience, strong commercial instincts and a natural flair for BD and leadership.
