Swansea Council's Education Directorate are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Caseworker.
This is a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support for learners with ALN ensuring statutory duties are met and inclusive practices are embedded across schools and settings.
As part of the Achievement and Partnership Service, you will manage a diverse caseload, contribute to strategic planning and work collaboratively with families, schools and multi-agency teams. You will play a vital role in implementing the ALNET Act 2018 and supporting the transition to new national reforms.
Applicants should be qualified teachers with significant SEN/ALN experience or professionals with extensive experience in working with families and ALN officers at a local authority level within the field of statutory assessment. Strong communication, analytical skills and a commitment to equity and inclusion are essential.
