Regulatory Conduct MI Manager
We have an exciting opportunity to join the UK Insurance (EUI Limited) Function’s Compliance department with a role based in the Compliance Department. As a member of EUI Compliance, you will be passionate about regulatory and customer outcomes data, identifying trends in conduct and regulatory data MI, which highlight regulatory risks and provide second line challenge, oversight, and support to the business when submitting data and commentary internally or externally.
Job Purpose
As a Regulatory Conduct M.I. Manager, you will support the Head of Compliance, Advice, and Monitoring teams to identify relevant trends and analysis where conduct/customer and regulatory risks appear and require challenge and commentary. You will assist in preparing for senior governance committees by providing insights and trends related to regulatory risks through MI, ensuring proper documentation and reporting. You will oversee all regulatory standing data reporting reviews before submission, providing sign-off where necessary, and work closely with key business areas to review and challenge their MI from a second line perspective, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of reported data.
Main Duties
1. Lead and manage all regulatory standing data reporting (e.g., RegData, FCA data requests), ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
2. Deliver second-line insight and assurance on FCA submissions (RMAR, GIVM, GIPP, REP008), providing expert analysis, challenge, and sign-off.
3. Oversee business conduct, product, pricing, and Consumer Duty MI, offering second-line challenge and escalation where needed.
4. Produce trend analysis and assurance reports for senior governance via the Senior Regulatory Advice Manager and Head of Compliance.
5. Collaborate with the Advice team to interpret key regulatory and customer data trends, enabling effective stakeholder challenge.
6. Leverage expertise from the Regulatory Technical Standards Manager to stay aligned with FCA priorities and emerging regulatory focus areas.
Skills and Experience
* Strong analytical skills with a proactive, self-managed approach to identifying trends via MI and data to support senior stakeholders.
* Skilled in stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
* Proven experience in regulatory environments, particularly within insurance.
* Confident, objective, and timely decision-making capabilities.
* Degree-educated or equivalent industry experience.
* Excellent report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
* Effective influencing skills with a strong team-oriented mindset.
