As a senior support worker, you will be part of a well-established staff team working within a busy house where no two days are the same.
1. Complete handovers, supervise staff, and be involved in the induction of new staff.
2. Conduct compliance checks and follow up on discrepancies.
3. Work closely with the staff team, leading by example to ensure the people we support live meaningful lives.
4. Encourage your team and identify training needs through coaching and reflection.
5. Oversee the smooth running and delivery of personalised adult social care, ensuring outstanding support in line with our vision.
Location: Crownhill, supporting 13 adults of mixed ages and genders with various interests. You will work shifts on a rota, including days, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Shift pattern: early 07:30 – 15:00, late 14:30 – 22:00. There is a separate waking night team.

About you
* Experience working with vulnerable people, ideally those with learning disabilities.
* Support or care worker background and seeking a senior role with greater responsibilities.
* Flexible, organized, and positive attitude.
* You must also be a driver with a manual licence to drive house vehicles and possibly commute using your own transport.
