Job Title: Library Customer Advisor Salary: £17,286 to £17,560 per annum 25 Hours per Week Location: Rubery Library Team: Bromsgrove Cluster Permanent The Role: Worcestershire Libraries are recruiting. We have a vacancy in the Bromsgrove Cluster of libraries primarily based in Rubery but with the requirement to travel to Hagley, Bromsgrove, Droitwich or Catshill if required. The role is diverse, exciting and no two days are the same. You will help our customers access a wide range of resources and services. A typical day could see you provide digital one to one support, lead events and activities such as a song or storytelling session for children or an online activity group for adults. Expect to learn something new every day in a fast-paced customer focused environment. You will need to be enthusiastic, energetic and flexible with excellent customer service skills. A will to find an answer to whatever question is asked is key. You may have a background in retail, community, education, early years or library work - but whatever your experience, your understanding of the customer will be crucial. Working hours are based on a rota and include Saturdays.
