Role Description
This is a part‑time, community based role throughout Portsmouth for a Care Professional. Responsibilities include assisting clients with daily activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and mobility support. Care Professionals will also provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote wellness and reduce isolation. Additional responsibilities may involve assisting with specialised care for conditions like dementia or Parkinson’s, delivering nail care services, and performing light housekeeping tasks as needed.
Qualifications
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills
* Understanding and compassionate nature
* Ability to assist with mobility, provide companionship, and support mental and emotional well‑being
* Basic housekeeping skills and an attention to detail in maintaining client environments
* Reliable, flexible, and dedicated to providing high‑quality care
* Driver’s license and access to a vehicle are preferred but not required
* Prior caregiving experience or qualifications in health and social care are considered an asset
