Job Description
3. Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
4. Lead and manage the financial accounting team, ensuring clear communication and effective delegation of tasks.
5. Develop and implement robust financial controls and processes across the organisation.
6. Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making within a business of high stock
7. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
8. Manage the year-end audit process, liaising with external auditors as required.
9. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee the preparation of VAT returns.
10. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the financial accounting function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Financial Accountants should have:
11. A professional accounting qualification such as ACA
12. Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and compliance within
13. Proven leadership experience in managing finance teams effectively.
14. Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations (UK GAAP)
