The opportunity
This role gives the opportunity to work in a dynamic, AIM listed environment supporting within the Group Finance team.
Key Responsibilities
* Day to day management: oversee banking facilities and manage balances across the Group
* Month-End Process: Assist with month-end closing activities and Group financial reporting
* Intercompany Reconciliation: Manage and reconcile intercompany balances
* VAT Reporting: Prepare and submit quarterly VAT reports
* Statutory Reporting: Support statutory reporting at both group and subsidiary levels
* Tax Compliance: Aid in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and the accurate and timely filing of tax returns
* Compliance Review: Review adherence to Group Finance processes and policies
* Support: Provide support to Group Financial Controller and Group and local Finance team
* M&A Activity: Assis with mergers and acquisitions activities as needed
About You
You’ll report to Group Financial Controller and you are a skilled and versatile financial accountant, your knowledge having been built on a robust foundation of financial and accounting learning. You will have an eye for detail and have the curiosity to ask questions in order to understand our business to ensure the correct outputs. You will have a flexible attitude and enjoy day to day variability in the role.
Experience & Qualifications
* Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA;
* A solid background in IFRS and Group Reporting;
* Ability to manage competing priorities with multiple stakeholders;
* Capable of working effectively and efficiently under pressure in a fast-moving environment;
* An analytical approach to resolving problems and finding effective solutions;
* Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel;
* Can travel in UK
