Software Engineer (Full Stack - Angular Focus) The Opportunity A global technology-driven organisation is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Digital Services team in Belfast. This role is front-end led, with a strong emphasis on Angular development, while also offering exposure across the full technology stack including Java and cloud-based architectures. You'll help build intelligent, customer-focused web and mobile applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. Working within an Agile environment, you'll collaborate closely with Product and UX to take ideas from concept through to production. Key Responsibilities Develop responsive, customer-centric applications using Angular (17+) and Ionic Contribute across the full stack, including Java-based backend services Deliver secure, high-quality, fully tested solutions for web and mobile platforms Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines Work closely with Product and UX to shape solution design Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives Essential Experience Strong commercial experience with Angular (or similar framework such as React/Vue) Experience with Java backend development Understanding of distributed systems and modern architecture Experience working with AWS (or similar cloud platform) 4+ years' experience in a fast-paced engineering environment Strong communication and collaborative team skills Benefits Negotiable salary Flexible working arrangements 35 days annual leave - take it when it suits you Company pension & performance bonus Modern Belfast office (Tues & Thurs on-site) Skills: Angular Java Belfast Hybrid Software Benefits: Work From Home
