Description
Provide technical support for hardware and software issues to end-users in a professional manner.
Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery and issue resolution.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, incidents, and resolutions.
Assist in software upgrades, patch management, and system updates.
Ensure compliance with IT policies and security protocols.
Provide training and guidance to users on IT systems and tools.
Profile
A successful Desktop Support Engineer should have:
Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, and networking concepts.
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues efficiently (2nd/3rd line)
Proficiency in managing IT systems, including installation and configuration.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
A customer-focused approach with strong communication skills.Job Offer
Competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000 (Some flexibility)
Permanent position based in Bournemouth,
5 days a week on site, Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week.
