This is a position within the Mechanical Engineering team at Martin-Baker, a leading manufacturer of ejection seats that saves lives by protecting aircrew. The role focuses on producing and maintaining product definition information (PDI), including 3D models, product manufacturing information (PMI), as well as detail and assembly engineering drawings that are commercially viable and unambiguous.
You will work across a wide range of products, support equipment, textiles and technologies, including mechanical components, machined and fabricated parts, as well as electronic/electrical systems, pyrotechnics, mechanisms and machines. You will help us listen to customers and represent our business as an expert voice on how best to support our product.

Responsibilities
* Produce and maintain product definition information (PDI) including 3D models and PMI, and create detail and assembly drawings suitable for manufacture and unambiguous interpretation.
* Work across a range of products, support equipment, textiles and technologies (mechanical, machined/fabricated, electronic/electrical, pyrotechnics, mechanisms and machines).
* Collaborate with customers to understand needs and communicate how to best support the product.

* 3D CAD software for model and part definition information generation.
* Material and process application.
* Tolerance and clearance analysis.
* Commitment to the highest standards and strong attention to detail.
* Ability to share and demonstrate Martin-Baker values.
Education & Qualifications
* Mechanical Engineering Advanced Vocational Qualification (ONC/HNC/NVQ).
