Responsibilities
* Develop and implement detailed work plans and schedules for mechanical teams
* Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations
* Conduct daily safety briefings and site inspections
* Manage and direct a team of mechanical technicians and craftspeople
* Perform quality control checks and documentation
* Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and provide technical solutions
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status
* Coordinate with other discipline supervisors to ensure smooth project execution
Qualifications
* Experience of Mechanical supervision within industrial settings, preferably in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or similar industries.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical fitting techniques
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and manage a diverse team.
* Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
* Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Fitting, CCSNG)
* Ability with BA and work in confined spaces
