We are recruiting on behalf of an independently run tea room and restaurant based in Radlett, Hertfordshire. Our client is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Supervisor to support the smooth day-to-day running of the front of house operation and help deliver an exceptional guest experience.
This is a hands-on role within a friendly, fast-paced environment where you will lead by example, support the team during service, and ensure high standards are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support the front of house team during daily service
Ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations across service periods
Deliver excellent customer service and handle guest queries professionally
Assist with opening and closing procedures
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service
Support training and development of junior team members
Assist management with stock control, rota input, and daily organisation
About You
Previous experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or strong Senior Waiter/Waitress ready to step up
Experience in a fresh food restaurant, café, or similar hospitality environment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Confident leading a team in a busy service environment
Organised, reliable, and calm under pressure
A positive, hands-on team player with a strong work ethic
