As a SEND Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging and creative lessons tailored to the needs of students. You will plan according to the curriculum, provide specialised teaching to pupils with SEND, and offer one-to-one and small group support to help every child reach their potential. SEND Primary Teacher Responsibilities: Plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum and key stages. Provide specialist teaching for pupils with SEND needs. Support students through one-to-one and small group teaching. Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment. Assess and monitor student progress and adapt learning methods accordingly. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, NQT, or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching in primary schools, ideally with SEND. Strong understanding of SEND strategies and inclusive teaching methods. Excellent classroom management and organisational skills. A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
