Overview
Facilities Engineer (Weekends) – Mars Wrigley, Plymouth (PL6 Estover).
Shifts: Sat & Sun rotating days and nights 6am - 6pm and 6pm - 6am, plus additional hours (32/36 hours per week). Salary: £45,633 - £51,337 (inclusive of shift allowance). Permanent position with company performance bonus up to 8%.

What are we looking for?
* Proven experience in diagnosing and fixing industrial boilers, steam pipework and water systems.
* Ability to troubleshoot pneumatic systems, compressors, chillers, boilers and dehumidifiers with minimal guidance.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Electrical/Mechanical engineering qualifications such as served apprenticeship, HNC, NVQ or equivalent.
* Excellent organizational and strategic planning skills.
Key responsibilities
* Monitor and operate all critical facility plant for factory operations, including production air conditioning, boiler and steam systems, and air compressors with factory-wide distribution and central chiller plant.
* Collaborate with the site reliability engineer to raise concerns and ideas for asset investment; provide technical support for utility projects from planning through implementation.
* Plan and schedule all legal inspections within the facility department and maintain full documentation.
* Manage reactive work, support troubleshooting and root-cause analyses.
* Facility contract management duties, including completion of risk assessments.
* Continually improve the facility SAP PM system to ensure transactions are captured accurately in SAP PM.
* Drive reactive maintenance and continuous improvement.
