Product Quality Engineer
Hybrid role (London - Three days onsite, two days remote)
6 months initial contract + possible extension
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead product assurance activities for satellite system design, manufacturing, and launch.
* Develop and implement product assurance plans aligned with customer and industry standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, ECSS).
* Ensure compliance of hardware, software, and processes with mission requirements.
* Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, customers, and suppliers to meet quality objectives.
* Oversee and approve selection and qualification of parts, materials, and processes.
* Manage quality reviews, inspections, audits, and documentation.
* Support bids by defining and reviewing product assurance requirements.
* Monitor supplier quality and ensure compliance throughout the product life cycle.
* Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
* Maintain quality records and support continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electronics, Aerospace, Mechanical, or Materials).
* Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, and ECSS standards.
* 5+ years in product assurance for space projects (ESA, UKSA, or similar).
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
* Proficient in MS Office.
