Overview
As a Caretaker, you will ensure that the school's buildings and grounds are in proper working order, maintaining a safe working environment for all users of the facility. You will carry out minor repairs and report faults which require specialist help, while maintaining the grounds and ensuring the premises are clean and rubbish is collected. The role also involves responsibility for the security of the buildings, carrying out security checks and ensuring all fire safety and health and safety regulations are adhered to.

Qualifications and Skills
* Good DIY skills and knowledge of basic maintenance
* Manual handling techniques
* Ability to use power tools safely; all safety equipment will be provided
* Good communication skills and a reliable member of the team
* Ability to work both inside and outside of the school grounds
