The role Working as part of our Credit Services Team in Honiton, this role is a great opportunity to join a successful business and become an integral part of a key team. Bradfords Building Supplies is a well-known and respected builders’ merchant. Our Credit Services Team plays a key role in the business, and this role provides operational support for the day-to-day tasks undertaken within Credit Services. What you will be doing With day-to-day responsibility for the customer information and the details held on our systems, you will learn about data protection (GDPR) and help to ensure that we remain GDPR compliant. You will also help to ensure that requests that come into the Credit Services team are prioritised and provide the administrative support that help us to achieve our monthly targets (KPIs). As an apprentice, your main focus will be around our New Accounts process, learning how this works, why it is important and helping us to maximise opportunities in this area. You will have regular contact with people across our business, including our Sales and Branch teams as well as our customers. You will also be required to assist and support the credit advisors, commercial credit advisors, and the internal legal department as required. What we’re looking for You will have an interest in working within an office environment and want to improve and use your administration skills. This will require an ability to focus on the task, pay attention to detail and work accurately and independently. Along with a confident and positive attitude, you will enjoy being part of a team and be comfortable speaking to customers on the telephone. As the role involves dealing with data and information, you will be able to demonstrate good IT skills and be comfortable using Word & Excel. Further training in both these Office programmes is also available. You will complete the Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship and be supported by us throughout this programme. You will receive a basic salary of £20,250.89 when you join, with a further review after 6 months. Your hours of work will be 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
