Position:
We have a great Senior Contracts Manager opportunity to join our Defence Commercial, Legal & Contracts team.

Key Responsibilities:
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
* Provide advice and recommendations on commercial issues, risks, liabilities, and opportunities related to business relationship agreements, bids, and projects
* Develop commercial propositions for major winning campaigns
* Support senior management in commercial negotiations with customers, partners, procurement, subcontractors, and other third parties
* Advise on costs related to UK and international contracts, including credit insurance, bank guarantees, and letters of credit
* Negotiate contractual agreements and changes, supporting senior management in managing such changes
* Identify and manage issues and disputes with customers in collaboration with the Legal team
About You:
Ideally, you will:
* Have a commercial background with experience managing contracts, risks, or a legal background with commercial experience
* Have experience working within complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-site organizations
* Possess relevant qualifications such as LLB, Engineering, Finance, or Programme Delivery (advantageous)
* Be skilled at building and managing relationships across all levels during bids, negotiations, and project delivery
* Have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to understand pricing, risks, and contract mitigation
