Senior Care Assistant – Eaton Court
Shifts: 7pm - 7am - Flexible for Days and Nights
Location: Augusta Street, Grimsby, DN34 4UD

Introduction to the role

You will work closely with our care team and liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
As a Senior Care Assistant, your responsibilities include assessing individual needs, developing person-centred care plans, and ensuring the physical, emotional, and medical needs of residents are met. You will be trained to administer medication safely, with ongoing support to ensure competency.
Previous experience in Older People’s care or dementia care is required. A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care is preferred; however, Level 2 qualified candidates will be supported to achieve Level 3 through our career pathway.
Our Orchard Academy offers bespoke training to develop your leadership, clinical knowledge, and advocacy skills.
Main Duties
* Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate high standards of personalised nursing care.
* Respect residents’ dignity, privacy, independence, and choice.
* Lead, supervise, support, and develop the care team.
* Communicate effectively with external professionals, residents, and their families.
