Leader Education are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to work at a specialist school based in South Tyneside. The ideal candidate will be friendly, compassionate and have some relevant experience working with children and young people with PMLD or SEND. This school caters for pupils aged 2 to 19 with severe learning difficulties and complex or profound needs, aiming to provide tailored support to ensure inclusivity and a fulfilling curriculum. Their latest Ofsted report was presented as “Good” and continue to pride themselves on having a positive and welcoming atmosphere that students can thrive in. The normal working pattern is Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm and is a long-term position given a successful trial.
