Overview
As part of unplanned mental health services in Doncaster we are able to offer a rare opportunity for motivated professionals to join Doncaster Crisis Team.
The role will involve the triage assessment and intervention of service users in crisis and will involve telephone, home visits and assessments in A&E.
Responsibilities
* Support in the new crisis service, including triage assessment and intervention of service users in crisis.
* Deliver assessments in A&E and through telephone and home visits.
* Liaison with families and support their understanding of crisis management.
* Work alongside partner organisations, third sector and peer support services; maintain transparency and openness.
* Contribute to and potentially lead changes as the community working age model is developed.
Qualifications and profile
* Permanent Band 6 qualified practitioner who is enthusiastic and highly motivated to join a busy team and who has a passion and desire to work with individuals in crisis within the community delivering a caring and safe service.
* Passionate, reliable and progressive staff who work within a strengths- and recovery-based approach.
