Join our team as a Domestic Heating Engineer and play a critical role in delivering exceptional service and compliance in the heating and hot water sector. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical expertise to our delivery officers, support contract management, and ensure the effective operation of domestic heating equipment. With a strong focus on building upon our reputation within the industry, we are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team.
Required Skills
At least 10 years of experience in the heating industry
Knowledge, practicality, and technical expertise in domestic heating systems
Ability to read and understand technical specifications and ensure contractors deliver requirements
Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to articulate issues or praise in a contract meeting environment
Ability to ensure issues are followed up and tracked to completion while maintaining high standards
Valid Domestic Gas Qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1) with a minimum of six months remaining prior to renewal of certification
Previous experience in a service and maintenance environment
Full driving license
Proficient in using a laptop/tablet, inputting and uploading dataNice to Have Skills
Relevant Auditor qualification (D32/A1) or equivalent
18th edition certification
Housing association or local authority experiencePreferred Education and Experience
