Job Description
Established, growing manufacturer of lighting products looking for an experienced Technical & Compliance Manager to join their senior management team.
Location: Portsmouth
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop, consolidate, and expand the business’ systems in the following areas:
* Product quality
* Business management through ISO9001
* Health & safety
* Environmental management
* Risk assessment procedures
1. Coach and develop the production team and resolve internal and supply chain quality issues, including:
* Product Risk Assessments
* Product Compliance Files
* Product manuals and technical content
2. Coordinate and prepare documentation and liaise with customers and supply chain around quality and specification issues.
Essential Attributes
* Experience as a quality manager in a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably with a strong electrical/electronic background.
* Experience within the lighting industry is desirable.
* Excellent communication, rapport-building, and people skills.
* Positive attitude and strong managerial skills.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative.
* Confidence when dealing with customers and suppliers.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple issues simultaneously.
Looking for someone comfortable with a leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
