Role Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Outpatient administration team at Wimborne Community Hospital. This is a part time post of 19 hours per week for a fixed term of up to 12 months, covering long term sickness. The role requires flexible working to suit the department’s needs and is offered on a secondment basis only for those currently in NHS service. Applicants requiring Skilled Worker sponsorship are ineligible.
Responsibilities
* Work cooperatively as part of a team in delivering a comprehensive and efficient medical records and outpatient service, including making and changing patient appointments, preparing and outcome clinics.
* Act as the first point of contact, on telephone or face to face, for patients, visitors and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
The post requires good clerical, communication and organisational skills.
