Our mission: helping people to a better future About The Role Ensure lawful and effective planning decisions are made and challenged where necessary. Support sustainable development by balancing legal compliance with environmental and community considerations. Develop expertise in a niche but impactful area of law, often leading to specialisation in planning, environmental, or public law What This Role Would Include Assist in advising public and private sector clients on a wide range of planning matters, including planning applications, appeals, enforcement, and judicial reviews. Draft and negotiate Section 106 agreements and other planning-related legal documents. Conduct legal research and prepare reports, briefings, and advice notes. Support senior lawyers in complex planning and environmental cases. Liaise with local authorities, developers, consultants, and other stakeholders. What We Are Looking For While the following skills and qualifications are beneficial, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every requirement: Qualified solicitor in England and Wales (2 years PQE preferred). Strong academic background in law, ideally with a focus on planning or environmental law. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong legal research and analytical abilities.
