Job Description
3. Manage Accounts Payable (AP) processes and supplier relationships
4. Conduct variance analysis and monitor cost tracking across the business
5. Prepare and deliver supplier summaries and reporting for management review
6. Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
7. Drive Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to support strategic decision‑making
8. Prepare monthly management accounts and ensure compliance with reporting standards
9. Post monthly journals including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Finance Manager should have:
10. Professional qualifications in accounting or finance, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
11. Strong proficiency in Excel
12. Demonstrable background in preparing monthly management accounts
13. Background in biotech, life sciences, or related industries desirable
14. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
15. Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a small finance team
