Responsibilities:
* Support students with special needs, ensuring their safety and helping them with learning.
* Build trust with all students and communicate in a way they understand.
* Encourage class participation and keep students engaged in lessons.
* Maintain an organised and supportive classroom.
* Help display students' work and plan activities.
* Assist students with tasks using teaching aids.
* Give feedback on students' progress and report any concerns.
* Follow safety and confidentiality rules.
* Accompany children on school trips.
To be considered for this role, the key requirements are as follows:
* Possession of an Enhanced child DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain a new one.
* Eligibility to work in the UK (Essential).
* Previous experience in school settings is preferred.
* Availability of 2 relevant professional references.
* Ability to adapt to the needs of students in a professional and courteous manner.
