**Job Title: Accounts Senior

**Position Overview:**
The ideal candidates will have substantial experience within a busy accountancy firm and be proficient in both accounts preparation and audit work. This role demands strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements
Show a solid understanding of the full audit cycle, including planning, fieldwork, and completion.
- Prepare year-end statutory accounts, with a strong understanding of FRS 102.
- Delegate tasks to junior team members while supporting their professional development.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships.
- Research client accountancy issues and engage in meaningful conversations with clients and colleagues about UK business regulations.
- Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for client queries.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Identify opportunities to enhance client service and grow the business.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
- ICAS or ACCA qualified.
- Significant experience within an accountancy firm, with exposure to both accounts preparation and audit.
- Proven ability to manage a fast-paced client delivery role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Awareness of Work In Progress (WIP) and fee targets.
- Forward-thinking with a drive for continuous improvement.
- Experience or willingness to start reviewing junior work.
- Keen for progression.

Requirements
• A qualification in Accounting or Finance • 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks • Attention to detail and accuracy • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
