A leading and award-winning housing developer are looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join an exciting project in Coventry. Offering up to £50,000 + comprehensive benefits package.
Job Duties:
Assist the Site Manager in overseeing the construction site and ensuring that work is carried out in compliance with building regulations and health and safety standards
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations on site
Monitor and report on progress to the Site Manager, identifying any issues or delays and proposing solutions
Assist in managing the construction schedule, budget, and quality control
Ensure all site personnel adhere to safety guidelines and regulations
Assist in resolving any conflicts or disputes that may arise on the construction site
Required Qualifications:
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
First Aid Certification
Valid Driving Licence
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong knowledge of new build housing construction processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Good problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and quality
Working Conditions:
The role will involve working on construction sites in varying weather conditions and may require occasional travel between different sites in the Coventry area.
