Are you currently training to become a teacher and looking to gain hands-on classroom experience? We are offering flexible supply opportunities for Student Teachers to work across a variety of local schools.
This role provides a great chance to build your confidence, develop practical teaching skills, and experience different school settings while continuing your studies.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting teachers with day-to-day classroom activities
Working with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning
Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
Helping to create a positive and focused learning environment
Stepping in to lead parts of lessons where appropriate
Adapting to new classrooms, age groups, and teaching styles
What We’re Looking For
A trainee teacher (e.g. studying PGCE, Schools Direct, or equivalent)
Enthusiasm for working with children and young people
Confidence, reliability, and a willingness to get involved
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to quickly adjust to different school environments
