The Role
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for;
1. Carrying out day to day engineering tasks – mainly mechanical but a bit of electrical work as well
2. Travelling locally round sites reacting to breakdowns or servicing and performing PPMs
3. Working on Machinery including Shredders, Sheers, Mobile Plant Equipment, Presses, Tele Handlers and more
4. Mechanically responsible for replacing like for like components including Valves, Pumps, Bearings, Belts, Conveyors
5. Working with Hydraulic equipment
6. Electrically responsible for basic fault finding, working with sensors, relays and more
The Candidate
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will need
7. A full UK drivers licence as you will be travelling round sites within the region
8. Be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
9. Strong communicator as you will be attending numerous sites within the region
10. Comfortable working with Hydraulic systems, and have knowledge of welding

11. A annual salary of £47,000, including being paid from door to door
