Job Description
This full-time role offers 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible or compressed working hours and the possibility to work from home one day a week. Your main responsibilities will include creating digital content for social media and other platforms, supporting national security through engaging storytelling, and promoting HMGCC’s work to various stakeholders. You will work with sensitive information, requiring attention to detail and discretion. The role involves working in a friendly team, with opportunities for professional development and training.
About You
You should have experience in external communications, digital design, or journalism, with skills in photography, videography, and tools like Adobe and Canva. Experience in social media content planning and delivery is essential. Qualifications in communications or experience in the public sector are desirable. You should be a collaborative, creative, detail-oriented team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to change.
Responsibilities
1. Plan, create, and design digital content for multiple platforms.
2. Manage social media and digital communication channels.
3. Take photos and produce videos for communication purposes.
4. Write and research content for web and social media.
5. Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
6. Assist in organizing events and media visits.
7. Support internal communications and evaluate external impact.
