Role: Commercial Contracts Manager
Location: Bristol
Onsite: 4 days per week, Fridays work from home
Salary: £competitive + guaranteed bonus (£12,000 per year)

About the Role:
As a Commercial Contracts Manager, you’ll oversee the full lifecycle of domestic commercial contracts—from negotiation and execution to closeout.

Key Responsibilities:
• Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations to align terms with company goals and ensure compliance
• Route to Contract: Drive the bidding process, coordinate cross-functional teams, generate proposals, and negotiate bespoke terms
• Contract Delivery: Support delivery chain activities including amendments, deliverables review, and acceptance criteria
• Contract Management: Oversee amendments, renewals, and closeouts while ensuring obligations are met
• Compliance: Ensure contracts meet legal and regulatory standards including ITAR, EAR, FAR/DFARS
• Business Development: Contribute to winning new work
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate contractual risks
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main contact for contract matters internally and externally
• Reporting: Provide updates to senior management on contract status and risks
• Dispute Resolution: Collaborate with legal and other teams to resolve contract disputes

• Proven commercial experience in a defence environment
• Skilled in drafting, negotiating, and finalising contracts

• Capable of managing multiple contracts in a fast-paced setting

• Familiarity with MoD contracting structures (DEFCONs, QDCs) preferred
